## Summary

The NHS Central East Integrated Care Board is intending to award a contract under the Provider Selection Regime for the "Mental Health Service Co-Production" project, located in regions UKH11 and UKH12. This initiative, set in the health services sector, is a unique opportunity falling under the services category, designed to amplify lived experience through facilitation and co-production, with meaningful engagement to reduce health inequalities. The procurement process, classed as a limited method, is marked by the award procedure without prior publication, signifying a direct award to an existing provider. The standstill period for representations remains open until 6 May 2026, following an ICB Board approval on 16 January 2025.

The "Mental Health Service Co-Production" tender has the potential to foster significant business growth, especially for entities specialising in healthcare service provision and community interest initiatives. With a financial remit of £106,635, businesses invested in early intervention and health strategies can utilise this opportunity to expand their service outputs and influence within the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough areas. The procurement is streamlined, offering a direct award process with scope for extension beyond the initial 12-month period starting April 2026, creating long-term engagement prospects for health service providers with proven track records in delivering quality mental health services.
