## Summary

West London Waste Authority has completed the procurement process for a material collection service aimed at handling unwanted, reusable, and bulky household items. The procurement, classified under refuse recycling services, supports the authority's strategic goals around waste and carbon reduction as well as the circular economy. The procurement process included an award stage, and the contract is scheduled to commence on 1st May 2026, with Litta App Limited as the supplier. This service will be active across West London, ensuring flexible and high-quality service provision seven days a week, excluding major holidays.

The tender offers significant opportunities for growth, particularly for businesses specialising in environmentally-friendly and customer-focused waste management solutions. The awarded contract seeks companies capable of delivering comprehensive services that align with future borough coverage and evolving operational models. Small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that can demonstrate innovation and a commitment to service improvement, while optimising operational efficiencies, will likely thrive in such a procurement landscape. The supplier was selected via a limited procurement method involving a mini competition under a Dynamic Purchasing System, highlighting the emphasis on engaging adaptable and capable service providers.
