## Summary

National Highways Limited is embarking on the planning stage of a significant procurement process concerning Estates Construction Projects that fall under the construction industry categories such as architectural, engineering, and civil consultancy services. The projects are set to be delivered across various regions within the United Kingdom, including UKC, UKD, UKF, UKG, UKH, UKJ, and UKK. The procurement method involves market engagement activities scheduled with a presentation on 8th May 2026 followed by a questionnaire and optional one-on-one meetings concluding on 5th June 2026. The tender is initiated under the 'works' category, with a focus on multidisciplinary professional services and large-scale construction contracts, with a project pipeline extending from April 2027 to 2035.

This tender process presents significant growth opportunities for businesses within the construction sector, particularly those specialising in building consultancy and project management services. The upcoming market engagement activities offer an excellent avenue for businesses to provide input, align their services with anticipated requirements and potentially secure contracts. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with competencies in architectural, engineering, or construction consultancy should consider submitting expressions of interest and attending the planned events to position themselves advantageously within this competitive landscape. The structure aims to encourage the involvement of diverse service providers across the UK through recognition of suitable SMEs and a transparent procurement strategy.
