## Summary

The NHS Central East Integrated Care Board (ICB), a regional health agency, is set to award a contract titled "UWAC South" within the health services category. This contract focuses on delivering urgent community response services across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough to support service users in their homes and care facilities. The procurement process is at the award stage, following the Provider Selection Regime (PSR) without prior publication of competition calls. Key dates include the standstill period starting from 29 April 2026, with representations by providers due by 13 May 2026. The indicative value of the contract is £1,190,000 for a duration of 12 months, commencing on 1 April 2026.

This tender creates substantial opportunities for businesses specialising in health services, particularly those capable of handling urgent community support. Large-scale medical practices or health service providers with experience in residential and nursing care might be well-suited to fulfil the contract requirements. With the intended direct award to GRANTA Medical Practices, businesses involved can expect continuity and potential growth through collaboration with NHS entities during anticipated systemic changes in ICB structures led by NHS England. The procurement offers a chance to reinforce service delivery within the regional health framework and nurture partnerships aimed at fostering community health.
