## Summary

NHS Central East Integrated Care Board (ICB) is planning to award a contract for a Dementia Support Service under the Provider Selection Regime (PSR). The procurement process is at the "Intention to Award" stage, following the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023, with representations due by 13 May 2026. This contract, aimed at health services, specifically dementia care, will cover regions UKH11 and UKH12, including Ely, and is slated to last 36 months from 1 April 2026 to 31 March 2029, with a potential extension for an additional two years. The indicative annual value is £341,961, subject to final approval. The procurement method involves a direct award process without prior competition publication, reflecting a continuation of existing services.

This tender presents an opportunity for businesses involved in health services, particularly those specialising in dementia care, to expand their portfolio and strengthen their presence in the healthcare industry. While the contract seems set to be awarded to an existing provider, namely Alzheimer's Society, organisations capable of offering innovative dementia support interventions could benefit from similar future opportunities. Businesses with expertise in healthcare services or those equipped to handle changes stemming from Integrated Care Board structural adjustments would be well-suited to engage with potential upcoming tenders in this domain.

## Notice

### Lot Information

Lot 1

Central East ICB, previously Cambridgeshire and Peterborough ICB are intending to award a contract to an existing provider following direct award process C for a duration of 36 months, from 01/04/2026 - 31/03/2029. The financial values included are indicative and subject to final approval. The indicative annual value of the contract is PS341,961. C&P ICB will be changed by the implementation of ICB mergers and boundary changes, taking effect on 1 April 2026 and April 2027, which is being led by NHS England (NHSE), who will exercise its power (14Z28) to vary or revoke the Establishment Order, thereby abolishing or establishing ICBs or changing the boundaries of existing ICBs.

Options: Option to extend for 2 years.
