## Summary

The Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust is spearheading the Newcastle Treatment & Recovery (All Age Drug & Alcohol Addiction) Partnership, seeking a partner organisation to aid in the provision of recovery coordination, psychosocial interventions, recovery support, and peer support services. This procurement process is currently at the tender stage with key deadlines including a tender period end date of 15 July 2026 and an award period starting from 22 July 2026. This initiative falls under the health services category with the primary procurement category being services, and it engages an open procedure method. Situated in Newcastle Upon Tyne, this tender presents approximately £12.8 million in value, with services expected to be delivered in the UKC22 region.

This tender presents a significant opportunity for businesses aiming to expand their reach within the health services sector, particularly those specialising in addiction recovery and associated support services. Organisations experienced in partnering with NHS bodies or with capabilities in handling psychosocial and peer support interventions will find this tender particularly aligned with their expertise. Moreover, the open procurement method allows a broad scope of entities, including SMEs and VCSEs, to participate, fostering a competitive landscape that encourages innovations in service delivery. With the prospect of grant funding adding potential scale to the primary contract value, successful participation in this tender could substantially bolster business growth and visibility in the public health domain.
