## Summary

The Industrial Dwellings Society (1885) Ltd, a sub-central government public authority based in London, has initiated an open tender process titled "IDS EICR and Remedials." The procurement falls under the services category and invites proposals for conducting Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR) and associated remedial works, alongside Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) across a range of domestic and non-domestic properties in the UK, region UKI. The tender process, now at the active stage, will conclude on 28th June 2026, with the enquiry period ending on 17th June 2026. With a projected contract start on 1st November 2026, there is an opportunity for extension based on performance. The total estimated contract value stands at £180,000 with a focus on ensuring property safety and compliance with relevant regulations.

This tender offers significant growth opportunities for businesses specialising in electrical services and testing. Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) equipped to deliver electrical inspection, testing, and remedial services, along with those experienced in PAT, are well-positioned to benefit. The procurement is designed as an open competition, allowing any qualified provider to participate. Such contracts can lead to long-term business relationships and potential growth through renewals, given that satisfactory performance can lead to contract extensions. The tender favours the Most Advantageous Tender (MAT), prioritising cost-effectiveness and quality, thus allowing skilled providers to showcase their competitive offerings effectively.
