## Summary

Nuclear Restoration Services Limited, a sub-central government public authority, is planning a procurement process for the "Framework Agreement for Contingent Resource" geared towards supporting decommissioning activities at the Dounreay Site. This procurement, currently in the planning stage, will establish up to five Framework Agreements with an anticipated start date in June 2027 and a maximum duration of four years (initially two years with options for two one-year extensions). The procurement involves services in personnel placement and supply, under the services category, with an estimated value of £18 million in potential call-off contracts. Located in Warrington, UK, further communication about the tender process is expected on 4 January 2027.

This tender represents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in personnel services, especially those offering placement and temporary staffing solutions. Given the substantial potential contract value of £18 million, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are particularly well-suited to compete, as the procurement framework explicitly highlights SME suitability. Establishing a position within this framework could provide sustained business prospects, as the contracts cover a period extending to May 2031, subject to demand and contractor performance. This tender offers a rewarding avenue for growth for businesses equipped to meet the stringent requirements of decommissioning activities.

## Notice

Nuclear Restoration Services (NRS) Limited is seeking to establish a maximum of 5 Framework Agreements for the provision of Contingent Resource required to support decommissioning activities on the Dounreay Site. The duration of the Framework Agreement will be a maximum of 4 years (2+1+1) and should commence in June 2027. Any extension to the initial two year period will be based upon the continued requirement of the Framework Agreement and the performance of the individual Contractors. The estimated cumulative value of call-off contracts that may be awarded through the Framework Agreement over its duration is PS18M however, NRS Limited does not commit to any guarantee of any volume of work being awarded by call-off contracts via this Framework Agreement.
