During 2025/26, PS6m was generated from bus stop advertising and approximately PS70k from CCTV monitoring and drone piloting services. Whilst TfWM brought in ~PS17m from asset monetisation and service provision in the last financial year; evidence from comparable transport authorities suggest other opportunities for revenue generation. The 2027-2030 Transport for West Midlands Commercial Strategy will consist of three significant chapters; Asset and Service Commercialisation, Farebox Growth and Fleet & Electrification. Collectively, these chapters will support TfWM in maximising revenue generating and cost saving opportunities through a period of extraordinary change.
