The project, titled "Research Project on Teenage Relationship Abuse," falls under the services industry category with a focus on research services. The contract has been awarded with a direct procurement method to City St George’s, University of London, a large-scale supplier, to conduct systems mapping and analysis of existing data on teenage relationship abuse. This tender offers substantial opportunities for businesses focused on research services, particularly those with expertise in domestic abuse and children's safeguarding. Businesses capable of addressing complex data analysis and systems mapping within statutory and non-statutory agencies may find growth opportunities through similar projects. Small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as those with ties to voluntary, community, and social enterprises, may find this type of direct award contract, which bypasses competitive sourcing, a beneficial avenue to showcase their unique capabilities in the field of social research and policy development.

## Notice

The Home Office is looking to fund an organisation, academic/s, or consortium, with experience in the fields of domestic abuse and children's safeguarding to undertake a research project on teenage relationship abuse, involving systems mapping and analysis of existing data. The research will result in the development of the evidence base, including a dataset, to improve the understanding, identification, recording, monitoring and response to teenage relationship abuse across statutory and non-statutory agencies and organisations (e.g., police, social care, education, health, specialist services and youth justice). The research will aim to inform policy, commissioning and practice, ultimately improving protection and support for children and young people experiencing or using teenage relationship abuse.
