## Summary

The procurement process involves the Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust as the buying organisation, seeking suppliers for a framework agreement titled "Compounded mAbs - Cancer Therapies". This initiative is set in the industry category of pharmaceutical products and services and is located across various NHS Trusts in the South East of England. The procurement is currently in the tender stage, with key deadlines including the enquiry period closing on 16th June 2026, and the tender submission deadline set for 22nd June 2026. The framework is structured into two lots: Lot 1 for high-volume products and Lot 2 for lower-volume products, each with an active contract period starting on 1st December 2026 and extending through to 30th November 2028, with options for renewal.

This tender represents a significant opportunity for businesses involved in the pharmaceutical sector, particularly those specialising in monoclonal antibodies for chemotherapy treatments. Suitably positioned small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community, and social enterprises (VCSEs) can leverage this open procurement procedure to secure a place in the framework. The opportunity facilitates business growth through a potential framework value of £216 million, providing a stable pipeline of demand over several years. Businesses capable of meeting technical compliance, quality assurance benchmarks, and competitive pricing criteria are well-suited to compete, with the procurement process allowing for new players to enter the market.

Please note: we did not publish a preliminary market engagement notice (UK2) for the following reasons: - we are not seeking to further develop our requirements or procurement approach. - we have procured similar supply arrangements via the Open procedure and deployed similar conditions of participation and award criteria. These have yielded good results previously. - we have already prepared our tender pack (see attached), that detail standard NHS contractual terms which have been found to be acceptable to the supply chain. - we understand the likely suppliers who will be interested but the open notice approach gives opportunity to others looking to enter the mAbs supply market
