BCC has a substantial and diverse construction spend profile, supported by a significant pipeline of projects varying in type, value, and complexity. This is underpinned by a property, plant and equipment portfolio valued at approximately PS7 billion, alongside ongoing investment in the maintenance and improvement of schools, transport infrastructure, and housing. Through this framework, BCC aims not only to deliver value for money and high-quality outcomes, but also to support the growth of businesses based in Birmingham and the wider West Midlands. The framework will be designed to create accessible opportunities for local suppliers, including SMEs, and to encourage participation across the regional supply chain.
