## Summary

The University of Glasgow is seeking to procure an Electrochemical Capacitance Voltage Test System under the tender reference PURCH2923, with active procurement currently at the tender stage. The deadline for submissions is set for 8th June 2026 at 12:00 PM. This opportunity, classified under the industry category of laboratory, optical, and precision equipment, is located in the UKM82 region. The procurement follows the Competitive Procedure with Negotiation as per Regulation 30 of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015, including a tailored structure to enhance evaluation efficiency. The awarded contract, initially for a 12-month period, includes options for two additional 12-month extensions.

This procurement presents a significant growth opportunity for businesses involved in the supply of precision laboratory equipment. Companies specialising in semiconductor photonics and electronics device research stand to benefit, particularly those capable of advancing research with state-of-the-art electrochemical capacitance voltage profiling systems. Suppliers should be prepared to deliver community benefits including training and up-skilling opportunities, as well as supply-chain development activities. The University of Glasgow values engagements with businesses that align with their commitment to community benefits. Businesses with strong product liability and public liability insurance and a minimum yearly turnover of £400,000 are well-suited to respond to this tender.

### Lot Information

Lot 1

Provision of Contract Agreement for Electrochemical Capacitance Voltage Test System for a Minimum Period of 12 Months with the Option to Extend for Two Further Periods of up to 12 Months The University has a requirement for an electrochemical capacitance-voltage (ECV) profiling system capable of performing measurements of dopant levels (both p- and n-type, e.g. Zn, Si, etc.) in epitaxial III-V compound semiconductor materials (e.g. GaAs, InP, GaN, etc.) used in semiconductor photonics and electronics device research. Please refer to the 'PURCH2923 - Schedule 1A - ITT' for further details and specification. This procurement process is being conducted using the Competitive Procedure with Negotiation (CPN) in accordance with the requirements of Regulation 30 of the PC(S)R 2015. Although this procurement is being conducted under the Competitive Procedure with Negotiation (CPN), it is structured differently from a typical CPN process.
