## Summary

The Anchor Hanover Group, a prominent public authority and the UK's largest provider of specialist housing and care for older individuals, has initiated a tender for wastewater and pump management services across its estate, which includes retirement housing and care homes in England and South Wales. This active procurement involves an open competitive flexible procedure focused on planned preventative maintenance, repair, and asset management, with key dates including a submission deadline of 15th June 2026, and an award period ending on 19th August 2026. The procurement process is in the tender stage and offers a gross value of £3,135,000, designed to address servicing needs in occupied residential and care settings.

This tender represents substantial business growth potential, particularly for SMEs specialising in repair and maintenance services of liquid pumps and sewage plant operations. Businesses with expertise in handling complex submersible pump systems, water pollution control, and emergency response capabilities will find this opportunity well-suited to their services. Additionally, firms capable of managing technology adoption and changes in asset monitoring systems will have a competitive advantage, given the procurement’s stipulations for equipment maintenance and data management across multiple locations.
