## Summary

The Education and Training Foundation (ETF), the professional body for the Further Education and Skills workforce in England, has concluded a procurement process with the award of a contract for a Digital Credentialing Platform to EdInvent Inc. This contract award was finalised on 11th May 2026 and marks the completion of the procurement stage. The project is set to start on 12th May 2026, running until 31st March 2028. This procurement falls under the category of services, specifically software programming and consultancy services, indicating its association with digital solutions. The procurement method was limited, involving a competitive request for quotations, and it was conducted following ETF's internal procurement policy to ensure compliance with below-threshold competition standards. The services will be primarily delivered in the UK, and the contract aligns with ETF's recent brand repositioning efforts focusing on digital credentials.

This tender presents significant business growth opportunities, particularly for companies specialising in digital credentialing and software solutions integration. Businesses that can demonstrate proficiency in secure and verifiable digital platforms, coupled with seamless CRM integration and single sign-on capabilities, would find this sector promising. Additionally, suppliers who can offer extensive technical support, cost-effective pricing, and case study-backed capabilities would be well-positioned to compete in this space. SMEs that participated effectively in the bidding process, as shown by successful bids from two such enterprises, could further leverage their agility and innovative approaches to secure similar contracts in the future.
