## Summary

The NHS Litigation Authority has completed a direct award contract titled "Pega Migration Team" in the IT software development services sector. The contract was awarded to AI4process to continue the data migration work initially subcontracted by Labb Ltd, which opted to cancel their agreement. The procurement process followed a direct award method due to urgent requirements and the complexity involved, ensuring continuity without transitioning to a new supplier. The contract, valued at £386,159 excluding VAT, commenced on 1 June 2026 and concludes on 31 October 2026, with services centred in London.

This contract presents growth opportunities for businesses specialising in IT software development services, particularly those with expertise in handling complex data migration projects. Enterprises capable of integrating seamlessly with NHS systems or offering innovative technological solutions for healthcare-related data processes would be well-suited to compete for similar tenders. The NHS's engagement with direct awards underscores the importance of establishing a robust presence in the sector to be considered for future procurement needs.

## Notice

NHSR have direct awarded a contract to AI4process following the termination in the relationship between Ladd Ltd and AI4process. The contract was still required to conclude the existing work

### Procurement Information

The existing contract between NHSR was contracted with Labb Ltd who subcontracted the work to AI4process. Labb Ltd made the decision to cancel this subcontracting agreement and not offer the service. Due to the requirements within NHSR the services were still required so AI4process were approached directly to continue the work that they had been conducting. The work is due to be concluded in October so with this timescale the decision was made to direct award the contract due to the complex nature of the work and the potential transition time to migrate to a new supplier could potentially delay in the project and cause additional spend to the project
