## Summary

The Denbighshire County Council, acting as the lead authority in collaboration with several other regional councils and the Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board, is planning a new procurement process for the "North Wales Supported Living Agreement (2027)." This major tender, focused on health and social work services, represents a significant opportunity for service providers in North Wales. The agreement will commence on 1st April 2027 and run for an initial period of five years, with the potential for renewal. The planning stage is currently in progress, and key engagement activities such as a "Meet the Buyer" event are scheduled for 8th June 2026 as an online webinar, providing initial interaction with potential suppliers. This open procurement method is in line with UK procurement standards and has a significant budget allocation, highlighting its importance and scale.

This tender presents substantial growth opportunities for domiciliary care providers, specifically those registered with Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW). It is particularly suited to SMEs and VCSEs aimed at delivering or expanding into supported living services across North Wales. The framework offers a competitive platform to showcase and expand services, encouraging local enterprises to contribute to the welfare of children, young people, and adults in independent living situations. By engaging with this procurement process, businesses can leverage the regional collaboration to secure long-term contracts and enhance their market presence in the social care sector. Suppliers interested in expanding or establishing services in North Wales should consider participating in the forthcoming "Meet the Buyer" sessions to gain insight and establish connections ahead of the tender's formal issuance.
