## Summary

Orbit Group Limited, a sub-central government public authority in the United Kingdom, is currently in the planning stage for a Materials Framework aimed at supplying construction materials and associated items. The engagement process for this tender includes a series of webinars scheduled in May and June 2026, with the preliminary notice released on 13th May 2026. Potential suppliers are invited to partake in this market engagement exercise, offering a chance to provide feedback on the framework structure, which targets the procurement of goods largely within the construction industry. The procurement framework intends to streamline the supply chain for materials needed across several regions in the UK, with a focus on Coventry and its surrounding areas, and is anticipated to run from December 2026 to December 2030.

This procurement offers significant growth opportunities for businesses involved in the manufacture, supply, and delivery of construction and building materials. With a focus on sustainability and value-for-money supply routes, businesses specialising in goods like facing bricks, timber products, ironmongery, and construction machinery hire can leverage this framework to establish longstanding relationships with the buying organisation. The structured lot system, including lots for different construction materials and services, facilitates participation by smaller enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community and social enterprises (VCSEs). Suppliers will benefit from a mixed procurement approach of mini-competitions and direct awards, fostering a competitive yet supportive environment for business development.
