## Summary

Kent County Council is initiating a procurement process titled "Targeted Relationships" aimed at providing social services. This procurement, currently at the planning stage, focuses on safeguarding girls and young women aged 10-18 at risk of unhealthy relationships and abuse. The preliminary market engagement event is scheduled for 8th and 10th June 2026 via Microsoft Teams, with stakeholders encouraged to express interest by 5th June 2026. The procurement is categorised under social services and aligns with the new Procurement Act 2023. This engagement aims to shape the tender process, which seeks to enhance trauma-informed support services, primarily in the UKJ4 region of the United Kingdom.

This opportunity can significantly boost businesses with expertise in safeguarding, violence against women and girls, SEND inclusion, and child education engagement, particularly for those specialising in delivering trauma-informed and preventive support services. The council's emphasis on addressing vulnerabilities and exploitation opens avenues for service providers who can deliver comprehensive social services across multiple and intersecting needs. Interested parties are advised to set up a supplier profile on the Kent Business Portal for updates on future procurement stages and to explore partnership opportunities with an estimated contract value of £925,685.52, potentially extending to £1,110,822.62 over the full contracted period.
