## Summary

The recent procurement process for "DFTO Ground Transportation" is being conducted by DFT Operator Limited, a public undertaking based in London. This ongoing procurement, through an open method, is focused on services within the transportation industry, specifically targeting areas including buses, coaches, and taxi services across the United Kingdom. The process commenced on June 1, 2026, and will continue until May 31, 2034. Currently, the procurement is at the Award stage, with several contracts active under a Dynamic Purchasing System framework agreement. This approach is designed to remain flexible, allowing suppliers to join at any time, provided they meet the membership conditions.

This procurement presents a significant opportunity for large-scale companies that offer road transport and taxi services to enhance their business operations. Participation in this dynamic market allows suppliers to engage continuously with various Train Operating Companies within the DFTO group, serving requirements such as managed bus and coach services for rail replacement and managed taxi services. This dynamic structure offers growth prospects especially for businesses specialised in providing extensive transport services, including rail replacement and public-service vehicles, capable of meeting operational and safety standards. Suppliers able to provide comprehensive transport solutions across multiple UK regions will find this procurement particularly beneficial for expanding their market presence.
