## Summary

WM Trains Limited, located in Birmingham, United Kingdom, is currently in the planning stage of a public procurement process for a framework agreement titled "Framework Seat Repairs." This procurement initiative targets the rail industry within the services sector and seeks to provide repairs for rolling stock seats, encompassing dilapidation repairs, moquette and foam replacement, and fire safety assessments. The procurement process was initiated under an open procedure and is scheduled to commence contractually from 1st April 2027, with the agreement lasting until 1st April 2031, with a potential extension until 2035. A future notice for this tender is expected by 1st October 2026. The total estimated value of this procurement is £1,536,960, with a gross amount of £1,844,352.

This framework offers substantial opportunities for businesses specialising in railway equipment repair and maintenance services. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are particularly encouraged to participate, given their eligibility under the procurement's suitability requirements. The open procedure allows for broad competition, making it an attractive prospect for companies aiming to expand their service offerings in the railway transport sector. Engaging in this framework could provide a stable stream of work over several years, fostering business growth and positioning enterprises as key players in the maintenance and repair of railway infrastructure across the UK.
