## Summary

Arc Property Services Partnership Limited, based in Nottingham, UK, is planning to initiate a procurement process for the “AP25177 - Mechanical Engineering Framework.” This framework aims to facilitate a range of mechanical engineering works across various estates managed on behalf of Nottinghamshire County Council. The procurement process, currently in the planning stage, follows an open competitive procedure and is expected to commence with a two-stage process, highlighting selections based on qualifications and a quality-price evaluation ratio. Interested businesses should note key dates, including the tender period ending on 3rd July 2026, and the overall framework value estimated at £13,200,000 including VAT. The framework’s geographical scope covers Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, South Yorkshire, and Leicestershire, focusing on works such as installation, maintenance of water systems, heating, and mechanical plant operations.

This tender represents a significant opportunity for businesses specialising in mechanical engineering and related services, enabling them to secure a long-term partnership lasting up to five years with the possibility of extensions. Companies with expertise in plumbing, heating systems, fuel and gas infrastructure, and building management systems are particularly well-suited to compete. Participating firms must demonstrate technical qualifications, have appropriate certifications such as Gas Safe and REFCOM registrations, and meet financial criteria including a minimum annual turnover of £500,000. Business growth can be driven by the framework’s considerable scope, collaborative delivery approach, and an emphasis on social value and carbon reduction, offering myriad opportunities for experienced contractors to expand their operations within the public sector.
