## Summary

The Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust is currently in the planning stage of a procurement process titled "Soft Market Testing Radiopharmacy Services Joint Venture." This initiative is aimed at expanding the Radiopharmacy Services to enhance diagnostics, innovative treatment, and research capabilities in Southwest England. Situated advantageously on the M4/M5 corridor, the Trust is looking to leverage its state-of-the-art pharmacy facilities, which include units for Cytotoxics, Monoclonal antibodies, and a Radiopharmacy unit, among others. Engagement with potential suppliers is scheduled for mid to late June, with an interest expression deadline set for 30th June 2026. Located in Bath, the Trust seeks input on potential delivery and funding models for a joint venture or partnership with private sector entities, primarily within the pharmacy services and radiopharmaceutical supply sectors.

This tender presents substantial opportunities for businesses involved in pharmaceuticals, particularly those specialising in pharmacy services, radio-isotopes, or medicinal products. The procurement method utilises a soft market testing approach, seeking innovative commercial and operational models from prospective partners. With the contract term projected to start in January 2027 and extend over a decade, this venture can provide long-term growth potential for participating businesses. Suitable entities include those with expertise in radiopharmaceutical supply chains, technical operations in nuclear medicine diagnostics, or those offering innovative funding solutions for public-private partnerships. Such collaboration opportunities are invaluable for companies looking to establish a foothold in the healthcare sector or expand their existing services in the UK.
