The existing BMS infrastructure is predominantly based on legacy Cylon UC32 controllers and UC32.Net supervisory gateways. These systems are end-of-life and no longer supported. The University requires the Contractor to replace and modernise this infrastructure while maintaining operational continuity and enabling future energy efficiency and carbon reduction initiatives. Due to the requirement to maintain operational continuity with the existing UC32-based estate during phased migration, and to ensure compatibility with existing programming tools, supervisory infrastructure, and transitional integration mechanisms, the replacement system shall be based on ABB Cylon technology. This document defines the Employer's Requirements (ERs) for the Works. It shall be read in conjunction with the Appendices referenced herein. ________________________________________ 2. Scope of Works The Contractor shall design, supply, install, configure, commission, and hand over a modern BMS solution in accordance with these Employer's Requirements.
