## Summary

The Mid South Essex NHS Foundation Trust is initiating a significant procurement process titled 'ComIT 4 - ICT Solutions,' with a focus on delivering ICT and digitisation solutions to public sector organisations. In partnership with HealthTrust Europe LLP, the procurement is currently in the planning stage, with a comprehensive engagement phase designed to shape a framework that maximises value for public sector clients. The initiative spans multiple industry categories, including IT services, telecommunications, and medical equipment, covering regions across the United Kingdom. Key dates include the milestone deadline of July 10, 2026, for expressions of interest, with the anticipated publication of the framework tender set for April 2027. The procurement method includes direct awards and competitive processes, supported by thorough market engagement activities scheduled through 2027.

This comprehensive framework presents substantial opportunities for businesses specialising in ICT solutions, particularly vendor-agnostic Value-Added Resellers (VARs) with robust supply networks and accreditations. The framework's emphasis on enterprise-level solutions and cost-effective procurement pathways creates a fertile ground for growth in areas like AI, cybersecurity, and cloud services. Additionally, flexible purchasing options and the inclusion of emerging technologies highlight the innovative potential for participating companies. The tender is especially suited to businesses with capabilities in delivering end-to-end digital services to health and social care sectors, aligning with strategic public sector digital transformations across the UK.
