## Notice

Thames Water is the UK's largest water and wastewater service company. Every day we supply around 2.5 billion litres of tap water to 10.6 million customers across London and the Thames Valley. We also remove and treat more than 4.7 billion litres of sewage for 16 million customers. In everything we do, we follow Thames Water's purpose and values. Thames Water is seeking to appoint service providers to deliver Bio Recycling services. The appointed service providers will be responsible for providing one or multiple of the following services: * Lot 1: Haulage, * Lot 2: Spreading, * Lot 3: Offsite Liming, * Lot 4: Onsite Liming, * Lot 5: Restoration, * Lot 6: Trackway services The service provider is expected to be proactive in contractual innovation and deliver high-quality performance throughout the contract period. The contracts will encompass all aspects of Bio Recycling services, with a focus on supporting TWUL's operational and strategic objectives. Thames Water reserves the right to refine the award criteria. Please note that that deadline for asking for access to the PSQ & submitting of the PSQ is 3rd July 2026, 12 noon GMT.

### Lot Information

Haulage

The service includes haulage support in peak seasons. The Service Provider must supply appropriate vehicles and drivers and hold the appropriate Waste Carrier licences for the haulage of Biosolids to agricultural land or other locations. The Biosolids are collected from the Collection Sites (typically the Purchaser's Sewage Treatment Works), where a vehicle loads from the Purchaser's storage areas, silos or direct from a product discharge point. The product is then transported to a Transfer Point, as instructed by the Purchaser, where either stockpiling operations or discharge into a reception facility shall take place. Lot volumes 2026/27 (estimated) * ~200Kt

Renewal: Initial contract term is 5 years with three one-year extension options up to the max term of 8 years.

Spreading

The service includes spreading of compliant biosolids to agricultural land, and supply of composting mix on an ad hoc basis. The spreading operation involves the even distribution of Biosolids from the stockpile to the area designated by the Purchaser at the Customer site as well as other ad hoc activities as requested. Lot volumes 2026/27 (estimated) * Total Lot Volume ~670Kt - 715K Regional volumes 2026/27 (estimated): * North West~ 125 to 137 Kt * North East ~ 199 to 210 Kt * South East ~ 121 to 132 Kt * South West ~ 225 to 236 Kt Please note that these figures are non-committal estimates for the period April 2026 to March 2027, and actual volumes may fall above or below the stated ranges.

Off site Liming

The service includes processing and disposal of non-compliant biosolids via an approved low odour, off site liming operation to compliant parameters. The supplier shall manage the post-treatment process, which include product placement. The provision of haulage of biosolids to the liming site is optional. Lot volumes 2026/27 (estimated) * ~60Kt

Renewal: Initial contract term is 5 years with three one-year extension options up to the max term of 8 years.

On site Liming

The service includes processing of non-compliant biosolids using a low odour mobile plant at TWUL sites to bring biosolids to compliant parameters. TWUL will be responsible for hauling and placement of the product. Lot volumes 2026/27 (estimated) * ~36Kt

Restoration

The service includes the disposal of non-compliant biosolids via restoration. The provision of haulage of biosolids to the restoration site is optional. Lot volumes 2026/27 (estimated) * ~47Kt

Trackway

Lot volumes 2026/27 (estimated) * ~1.7m SQM, 5200 days of hire across 500 sites
