## Summary

The Common Services Agency, also known as Public Services Delivery Scotland (PSD Scotland), has announced a planned procurement process for a Clinical Patient Management System aimed at enhancing community urgent and Out of Hours care across Scotland. This procurement falls under the category of IT services, specifically targeting software development and integration with existing NHS Scotland digital systems. As of June 2026, the procurement stage is in the planning phase, with an important deadline for a Market Research Questionnaire due by noon on 23 June 2026. The expected value of the contract is £3,000,000, and it is anticipated to consolidate services across territorial health boards, potentially standardising and improving data sharing and efficiencies throughout the region.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in IT services, particularly those with capabilities in programming, medical software development, and software integration consultancy. Companies that can demonstrate an ability to successfully integrate with existing NHS Scotland systems, such as GP IT Systems and eHR, will be well-positioned to compete. Engaging in this market research phase is crucial for businesses to inform PSD Scotland of their capabilities and influence future requirements. This early-stage involvement could lead to substantial growth opportunities as the procurement progresses into formal stages.
