## Summary

The public procurement process for the "Supply of First Field Dressings," initiated by LEIDOS SUPPLY, LIMITED, is in the planning stage. This procurement falls under the medical consumables category, focusing on bandages, with a primary delivery location in the United Kingdom. The procurement process is governed by the legal framework set forth in the UKPGA 2023/54. LEIDOS SUPPLY, LIMITED, headquartered in Bristol, is working in collaboration with TVS SUPPLY CHAIN SOLUTIONS LIMITED to conduct various evaluation parts. A Preliminary Market Engagement Notice (PMEN) is part of this process, with the due date for response set for 2nd August 2026. Additionally, an Industry Day is planned for early to mid-July 2026, inviting suppliers to showcase their potential offerings, with registration open until 26th June 2026. This initiative aims to gather marketplace insights before finalising the tender.

This tender offers valuable opportunities for businesses specialising in medical consumables, particularly those focused on bandages. Companies that can align with the MOD's requirements for First Field Dressings are encouraged to participate. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) could find this a lucrative opportunity as the procurement process accommodates such businesses. Engaging with this tender can facilitate business growth by securing a contract valued up to GBP 4.8 million (gross), with a provision for a framework agreement. Companies with innovative solutions and those capable of providing comprehensive product portfolios are well-suited to compete in this procurement process, potentially influencing future defence-sector requirements and strengthening business relationships within the public sector.
