These have historically operated as separate Contracts which have been procured via the respective ESPO Framework. The Council are conducting this Preliminary Market Engagement (PME) exercise in order to support the development of the Specification, Tender, and Contract Documents for the re-procurement of these two Contracts. However, through this PME, we are also seeking information regarding whether it would be beneficial to combine these Contracts into one Contract and therefore undertaken as one Procurement exercise moving forwards. The Contract Start and End Dates are purely estimates at this stage, and are subject to change. They have been based on the expiry date of the Council's current Gas Contract. The length of Contract is also subject to change i.e., may be greater/less than the stated 4 year period. ### Planning Information This is not a procurement/tender exercise. Information gathered from the market test will enable the Council to identify the option that best meets the Council's strategic objectives and offers best value for money. The Council reserves the right to recall any provider to explore an option in more detail if required.
