## Summary

The Department for Work & Pensions has awarded a contract for Managed Enforcement Services under the title "ecm_11975 (Now C4617) Managed Enforcement Services for the Child Maintenance Service", classified under the industry category of Bailiff services (CPV code 75242110). This contract covers the provision of services aimed at the recovery of child maintenance arrears from paying parents in England and Wales. This award, related to an earlier procurement process, has been updated with a contract modification. Originally signed on 9th June 2026, the updated contract now runs until 9th November 2026, and is valued at £1,116,760 GBP, reflecting an extension of service. QUALCO UK, the supplier, was selected through a negotiated procedure without prior publication due to the specific needs and urgency of the services required.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses within the enforcement services industry to engage with governmental projects, which can offer stability and growth potential. Companies with expertise in provision and management of enforcement services and capabilities to support the contractual requirements of the Department for Work & Pensions would be well-positioned to benefit from participating in such contracts. Given the scale of the operation and the specific focus on child maintenance arrears, companies with substantial experience in management of sensitive financial recoveries and operations within the public sector would find themselves particularly suited to such opportunities.

The reason that 'award with no prior notice' was used here is because using Restricted Procedure Type required the PIN code of an F02 notice. As this was procured on a framework there was no F02 notice this option was chosen as a workaround to Atamis.
