## Summary

Transport for London (TfL) is seeking suppliers for the "Provision of Hand Arm Vibration Wearable Devices" as part of a public procurement process in the health and safety services industry category. The procurement involves the supply of approximately 850 wearable monitoring devices, alongside necessary accessories, software, and technical support, aimed at monitoring worker vibration exposure. The process is currently at the tender stage, with submission deadlines closing on 6th July 2026 and anticipated award notifications by 26th August 2026. The process is managed electronically via TfL's e-sourcing portal, requiring suppliers to be registered under the relevant Railway Industry Supplier Qualification Scheme (RISQS) code. The total estimated contract value is £1,404,000, covering a contract period starting on 1st September 2026 and extending until 31st August 2029, with options for a 3+3 year extension.

This tender offers substantial opportunities for businesses proficient in health and safety equipment supply, particularly those experienced in railway environments. Companies registered under RISQS with expertise in workplace noise and vibration monitoring are well-positioned to contribute innovative solutions and compete for this contract. Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) are encouraged to participate, as TfL values proposals that deliver social value alongside commercial and technical excellence. Successful bidding could enhance a company's portfolio in smart safety solutions, potentially leading to further collaborations within TfL and other associated government transport entities.
