## Summary

The West Yorkshire Combined Authority is leading a procurement process for a new Transport Technical and Professional Services Framework, targeting the development of a seamless, sustainable transport network within the region. This initiative, set to run from 2027 to 2032, involves a substantial budget of GBP 75 million, with an estimated gross value of GBP 90 million. The procurement process, conducted via an open procedure, offers diverse opportunities across four main industry categories: Transport Planning, Client-side Professional Services, Asset Management, and Multi-Disciplinary Rail services. All relevant enquiries must be submitted by 30th June 2026, with tender submissions due 22nd July 2026. The process will conclude with the commencement of contract appointments on 1st September 2026, stretching over a fixed term of four years.

This framework offers significant potential for various businesses, particularly those specialised in engineering, urban planning, consultancy, and construction. Smaller enterprises (SMEs) are encouraged to participate, given the framework’s inclusive selection criteria. Companies that excel in collaborative project delivery, sustainable urban development, and rail industry support are well-positioned to benefit from the economic scales provided by this long-term partnership with the Combined Authority. As a multi-lot framework, diverse suppliers can align with specific lots to optimise their strengths and capabilities, presenting a robust platform for growth within the West Yorkshire region's expanding infrastructure landscape.
