## Summary

The Home Office has initiated a procurement process under the planning stage for its project titled "Home Office - Drone 'Detect, Track and Identify' System." The central government entity is seeking to engage with industry experts on technologies capable of detecting, tracking, and identifying uncrewed aerial systems (UAS). This tender falls under the goods industry category, focusing on items such as radar surveillance equipment and sensors. Key locations include London, UK. Industry feedback is due by the scheduled date of 25th June 2026, ahead of the planned contract period starting on 1st December 2026 and ending on 30th November 2030. Interested suppliers must register their participation on the Home Office's e-Sourcing Portal.

This procurement presents significant opportunities for businesses involved in the development and supply of drone detection and tracking technologies, especially those capable of integrating multi-sensor systems suitable for fixed, temporary, or mobile deployment. Companies offering low-cost solutions with wide-area coverage to enhance airspace awareness are particularly well-suited to compete. Engaging in this tender could allow businesses to contribute to the establishment of a national drone airspace management capability, steadily increasing their market presence within the security and surveillance technology sector.

## Notice

The overall aim of a drone Detect, Track, and Identify (DTI) capability is to detect, locate, track, and identify the presence of an uncrewed aerial system (UAS) (and potentially the controller), providing airspace awareness, and enabling them to take relevant action to mitigate any threats posed by the detected drone(s). This Request for Information is part of an information gathering exercise to support future direction and decision making in developing the national drone airspace management and intelligence capability, and to identify the most suitable options for future procurement.

### Planning Information

We are seeking views on industry’s current capabilities to detect, track, and identify uncrewed aerial systems (UAS). We are interested in different technologies, as well as multi-sensor systems. We are interested in systems that can be deployed in fixed-locations, temporarily deployable (for example in support of major events), or mobile. We are also interested in low-cost, wide-area solutions that can help provide air picture understanding across large parts of the country.
This Request for Information (RFI) and any future related procurement(s) will be managed electronically via the Home Office's e-Sourcing Portal (JAGGAER). To participate, suppliers must first be registered on the e-Sourcing Portal. All requests for clarification or further information in respect of this RFI should be submitted via Jaggaer. No approach of any kind in connection with this RFI should be made to any other person within, or associated with, the Authorities.
Should you wish to participate, please follow the below steps:
1. Register your organisation on the Home Office e-Sourcing portal at https://homeoffice.app.jaggaer.com and follow the link 'To register click here' or confirm access to your existing account.
2. Register your interest in the Home Office - Drone Detection 'Detection, Track, and Identify' Systems RFI exercise via email to CollaborativeProcurement@homeoffice.gov.uk ensuring the subject line is as follows: HSG CDU – DTI RFI Supplier Interest.
3. You will then be added to the Jaggaer project and the RFI will be shared via the portal.
We will be requesting RFI responses be returned via the portal by 12:00 Thursday 25th June 2026.
