## Summary

The Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) is undertaking the planning phase for the Event Management Framework 2 (EMF2) to support government event requirements, focusing on event management services. This initiative, which is located in London, UK, falls under the industry category of event services and involves a substantial procurement value of £31,000,000 with a gross amount of £37,200,000. The process is currently at the planning stage, with a particular interest in engaging SMEs and those who have previously collaborated with public sector entities. Interested parties are invited to submit their expressions of interest by 26th June 2026. The contract period is planned to commence on 12th March 2027, extending potentially until 12th March 2035, with a structured framework divided into eight distinct lots covering various event-related services.

This tender presents significant business growth opportunities for SMEs and larger enterprises specialising in event management, security, utilities, and accessibility services. Companies offering innovative solutions and services related to event infrastructure, audio-visual production, sanitation, and safety, among others, could benefit substantially from participation. The framework not only supports the procurement of safe and reliable event services but also aims to boost innovation and open up access to government supply chains for a broader range of suppliers. By embodying an open procurement method, the EMF2 allows entities to compete for lots tailored to their expertise, thereby fostering a competitive environment conducive to business growth and sector innovation.
