## Summary

The NHS Humber and North Yorkshire Integrated Care Board is involved in a procurement process for the provision of acute respiratory medical services for the Driffield area. The process is currently at the award stage under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023, and it operates outside the purview of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015. The contract with an estimated lifetime value of £144,000, spans from 1st July 2026 to 31st March 2027. The industry classification falls under 'Medical practice services', focusing on offering urgent care for acute respiratory conditions, with the aim to improve access and reduce burden on the healthcare system.

This tender presents substantial opportunities for businesses, particularly those in healthcare service provision and clinical governance. Companies that demonstrate strong capabilities in quality care delivery, innovation, and collaboration will find themselves well-positioned to compete. The procurement process under the PSR is crucial for healthcare providers seeking to expand offerings in medical practice services, as it prioritises quality and innovation, ensuring effective service delivery aligned with broader health inequality reduction goals. The framework allows for collaboration and integration with existing services, thus offering business growth opportunities for strategic partnerships within the health system. Businesses with a focus on social value and sustainability also stand to gain through participation, by contributing to community health and wellbeing in East Riding of Yorkshire.
