This contract award has been made following Direct Award Process A (The Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023, Regulation 7) The contract value is PS2,180,615,497.56 for years 1-3; and PS2,907,487,330.08 including 1 year extension. The contract term will be 3 years with the option to extend for a further 1 year at the sole discretion of the Authority. The contract will start on 01/04/2025 and end 31/03/2028, if the optional extension is utilised the contract end date will be 31/03/29. Additional information: This contract has been awarded to an NHS Trust under Direct Award Process A in accordance with Regulation 7 of The Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023, on the basis that there is no realistic alternative provider due to the nature of the healthcare services required. The provider delivers essential acute healthcare services, including Commissioner Requested Services (CRS) and specialised services, within the North East London system. The contract term is 3 years commencing on 01/04/2025 and ending on 31/03/2028, with the option to extend for a further period of up to 1 year at the sole discretion of the contracting authority.
