## Summary

The NHS South West London Integrated Care Board has concluded an award contract with the Royal Marsden Hospital NHS Foundation Trust under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. This multilateral contract involves several Integrated Care Boards and Specialised Commissioning Hubs. The procurement process utilised a limited method, specifically a direct award procedure without prior publication, given the provider's unique capability to deliver the required acute healthcare services. The contract spans from 1st April 2026 to 31st March 2027, with a significant annual value of £110,814,000. It focuses on hospital and related services within the health industry category, primarily to be implemented in the London (UKI) region.

This tender, although already awarded, represents a significant opportunity for businesses in the healthcare services sector. For those that provide or facilitate advanced medical services, understanding the procurement landscape and the criteria for direct award processes is crucial. The Royal Marsden Hospital NHS Foundation Trust's involvement as the sole provider capable of meeting the contract's specifications highlights the niche nature of the opportunity; businesses looking to compete may need to demonstrate specialised capabilities or develop partnerships that enhance their service delivery to meet similar contractual needs in future procurements. The contract’s focus on specialised healthcare represents a strong pivot area for growth, especially for businesses already engaged in similar high-stake healthcare services.
