## Summary

The Northern Health and Social Care Trust (NHSCT) is currently in the planning stage of a procurement process, as detailed in a Prior Information Notice (PIN) for an Early Market Engagement regarding Learning Disability Supported Living Accommodation. The service address is Spruce House, Cushendall Road, Ballymena, UK. The focus is to assess the market capacity for bespoke, single occupancy supported living facilities for a service user with complex behavioural needs. The preferred locations for this provision are Ballymena and Causeway, with other areas being considered as secondary options. This initiative is categorised under health and social work services (CPV code 85000000). Key dates include the communication via email up to 6 July 2026, specifically noting that this is not a call for tender at this stage.

This Early Market Engagement offers substantial opportunities for businesses specialising in bespoke healthcare facilities, particularly those with experience in managing complex behavioural needs in individuals. Providers with innovative solutions and a strong capability to offer 24/7 care with flexible staffing ratios would find this procurement process beneficial. Organisations involved in health and social services, especially those capable of delivering specialised supported living accommodations, will gain a competitive edge by demonstrating current and potential capacity. Participation in this process could place them favorably for future procurement opportunities when formal tenders are issued.
