## Summary

Plymouth City Council has recently completed the "Revenues and Benefits Delivery Proposal" procurement process, which focused on providing efficient and secure IT services for remote access to applications vital for 'Revs and Bens' users. This procurement fell under the services category, specifically IT consultancy and support, and was conducted through a direct procurement method, classified as below threshold without competition. The contract, awarded to DELT SHARED SERVICES LIMITED, was signed on 22nd June 2026, marking the completion of the procurement stage, with activities concentrated in Plymouth, UK.

This procurement offers significant opportunities for businesses specialising in IT services, particularly those experienced in remote desktop solutions and application configuration. Companies looking to expand their operations within the public sector and those capable of delivering secure and reliable IT services for governmental bodies are well-placed to pursue similar opportunities. Additionally, IT firms familiar with Microsoft Office 365 and other specific applications would find similar procurements beneficial for business growth and increased market presence within the sub-central government sector.
