## Summary

The Police, Fire & Crime Commissioner for Staffordshire is in the planning stage of a procurement process for services titled "The Provision of a Hate Crime, Antisocial Behaviour and Mediation Service." The procurement falls under the industry category of community service provision, with a focus on commissioning a Hate Crime Support Service (Lot A) and an ASB & Mediation Support Service (Lot B) to serve the regions of Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent. This project is slated to start on 1st April 2027, and the commissioner is planning a market engagement day on 17th July 2026 at Staffordshire Police HQ, to facilitate discussions and provide more insights into the tender requirements. Interested suppliers must express their interest by 14th July 2026, via the Proquro e-tendering portal.

This tender represents a significant opportunity for businesses specialising in victim support services and community safety to expand their operations within the public sector. The Commissioner is explicitly seeking partnerships that will provide high-quality, confidential support to victims across the community. This is particularly suitable for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community, and social enterprises (VCSEs) that are equipped to deliver collaborative and efficient service solutions. SMEs and VCSEs can leverage this opportunity to enhance their footprint in public service provision, particularly those experienced in engaging with multiple stakeholders and delivering victim-oriented services. A total contract value is estimated at approximately £1.53 million, underscoring the potential for substantial business growth and market presence.
