## Summary

The procurement process initiated by Tai Hedyn Limited, a leading housing association in Southeast Wales, is currently in the planning stage for an estates window cleaning service. The buying organisation, operating across Blaenau Gwent, Monmouthshire, Newport, Powys, and Torfaen, is conducting a Preliminary Market Engagement event to be held on 20th July 2026 in Newport. This event is part of the planning process under the Welsh devolved regulations, inviting market insights to inform the future tender. Interested suppliers must register by 10th July 2026 to participate in this engagement activity, which aims to explore service delivery models for their diverse property portfolio ranging from low-rise residential blocks to high-rise buildings.

This initiative presents substantial growth opportunities for businesses involved in the provision of cleaning services, particularly those specialising in window cleaning for various building types. With an estimated contract value reaching £410,000, the potential contract encompasses cleaning services that meet strict regulatory and safety standards. This opportunity is particularly suitable for SMEs with experience in the industry, compliance with relevant health and safety legislation, and a capacity for innovation in service delivery. This engagement can help such businesses position themselves for success in this planned service provision, with the official tender expected to proceed after further market evaluation.
