## Summary

The procurement process initiated by Kingstown Works Limited, a public authority operating under sub-central government classification, invites tenders for the project titled "Re-roofs Hull City Council 2026 - 2028". This tender falls under the works and services industry category, specifically focusing on roof works and other special trade construction works in the Hull area, United Kingdom, within the UKE region. The process is currently at the tender stage, with submissions closing on 3rd August 2026, followed by the award decision expected by 4th September 2026. The project is structured as a framework, allowing for flexibility in service provision without reopening competition, and is divided into five lots covering various roofing and refurbishment needs with an estimated value of £3.24 million gross. Sub-contractors can submit their proposals via e-mail and must comply with specific submission criteria by the given deadlines.

This tender represents a significant opportunity for businesses within the construction and roofing sectors, particularly those skilled in pitch, flat roofing, shed refurbishment, satellite and aerial relocation, and scaffolding. The framework offers prospective sub-contractors the chance to secure work based on a combination of price and quality scores, enhancing opportunities for local economic engagement and social benefits. Suitable for small and medium enterprises, this tender provides the flexibility for businesses to bid on specific lots that align with their expertise, promoting business growth through participation in a substantial municipal project. Additionally, businesses that achieve higher rankings on the framework are more likely to receive work, making this an attractive proposition for companies poised to meet the demand effectively and deliver high-quality services.
