## Summary

The Mayor's Office for Policing and Crime, based in London, is currently in the planning phase for procuring a Legal Services Case Management System for the Metropolitan Police Service’s Directorate of Legal Services. This procurement pertains to the goods industry category, specifically targeting document management software packages. A market engagement notice has been published, with preliminary market engagement activities scheduled. Interested parties must respond to the Request for Information (RFI) by 20th July 2026 at 10 am, to be considered. The project, once commenced, plans to span from March 2027 to March 2032 across multiple UK regions.

This procurement offers significant opportunities for suppliers specialising in case management or document management software to engage with a high-profile public authority. Businesses experienced in delivering comprehensive IT solutions tailored to legal and policing sectors are best suited to participate. By helping shape the future case management system for the Metropolitan Police, suppliers could potentially enhance their portfolios and strengthen their reputation within public sector markets. Participating businesses will not only gain exposure but also potentially secure a long-term contract that provides consistent revenue and opportunities for innovation over a five-year span.
