### Procurement Information

This is the renewal of an existing service for a further 3 year deal. The service is reliable, well supported by the supplier, embedded and integral to learning, teaching and assessment at LBU. Non-renewal would cause significant disruption to assessment with an impact on academic workload and student outcomes. The current Turnitin licence ends 31/07/26. It would also be uneconomic to pursue alternatives. We need to renew our licence with Turnitin to ensure a good quality service, academic continuity, and to give ourselves the time to look at the marketplace in depth.
