Suppliers shall maintain all necessary licences, accreditations, insurances, permits and environmental registrations required to deliver the services. They shall ensure that all personnel are suitably trained, qualified and competent and that services are delivered in a safe, proactive and risk-based manner. The Asbestos Consultancy Services shall include, but not be limited to: * Undertaking management Surveys, refurbishment and demolition surveys, re-inspections, asbestos risk assessments and site-specific management plans. * The Consultant shall provide sampling, testing and laboratory analysis through UKAS-accredited facilities, undertake air monitoring and four-stage clearance procedures, and issue all relevant certification and reports. * The Consultant shall also provide technical advice, quality assurance, compliance auditing, contractor oversight, specification development for remediation works and support to procurement activities where required. * In addition, the Consultant shall provide and maintain a secure web-based asbestos management database to enable the storage, management and reporting of asbestos-related information across the National Grid sites.
