The decision to directly award the contract was made on 18 July 2025, following the unexpected cessation of the incumbent provider's services, and the contract commenced on 1 August 2025 to ensure continuity of critical Technology Enabled Care Services. This is an 18 month contract which expires on 31 March 2027. The required Transparency Notice was not published at the time the award decision was made. As a result, this notice is being issued retrospectively to provide transparency regarding the original direct award decision and the circumstances that justified it.
