## Summary

The Mayor's Office for Policing and Crime in London is currently engaged in a public procurement process for the "PSQ - Provision of a Video Management System." This initiative falls under the industry category of software package and information systems, particularly targeting the enhancement of surveillance capabilities with Closed-circuit television cameras and surveillance systems. The procurement process, initiated on 13th July 2026, is currently in the tender stage with an expression of interest deadline set for 6th August 2026 at 16:00 BST. The procurement is conducted through a selective, Competitive Flexible procedure under The Procurement Act 2023, comprising two stages: the initial Pre-Qualification Questionnaire (PSQ) followed by a final tender stage. This project promises a contract value of £400,000, with potential optional extensions, and aims for completion between 5th October 2026 and 4th October 2027.

This tender offers significant business growth opportunities, particularly for companies specialising in the design and implementation of comprehensive surveillance systems and security management solutions. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are eligible and have a fair chance, given the procurement method's focus on technical expertise, with a 100% technical weighting in the selection criteria at Stage 1. Businesses offering integration and maintenance services for video surveillance, as well as companies with capabilities in handling legacy systems and modern technologies, would find this procurement especially suited to their strengths. The engagement also includes a chance for additional professional services on a time and materials basis, creating further opportunities for involvement throughout the contract lifecycle.
