## Summary

The Police and Crime Commissioner for South Wales, in collaboration with their counterparts in Gwent and Dyfed Powys, is in the planning stage of a tender for the "Provision of a Crisis Worker Service in Sexual Assault Referral Centres". This procurement falls under the services category, specifically guidance and counselling services, and aims to find a single supplier for comprehensive service delivery across various regions in the UK, including UKL14, UKL15, and UKL22, among others. The planning event, scheduled for 22 July 2026, will provide stakeholders with insights into existing services, future strategic priorities, and opportunities for partnership and innovation within the industry. The procurement is governed under UKPGA 2023/54, with an estimated contract start date from 1st January 2027 to 1st April 2027, ending on 31st March 2028, and embraces a light touch regime with provisions suitable for SMEs and VCSOs to encourage diverse participation.

This tender represents a valuable opportunity for businesses specialising in healthcare, social services, and trauma-informed support. Organisations that can offer robust guidance and counselling services, particularly those with innovative approaches and strong capabilities in strategic partnerships, are well-positioned to compete. The procurement process not only provides a platform to collaborate with public authorities but also offers a chance to contribute significantly to community welfare by delivering critical support services to victims and survivors of sexual violence. Engaging in this procurement can significantly enhance the service provider's reputation and expand their portfolio in the public sector, fostering potential growth and development in subsequent contracts.
