## Summary

Renfrewshire Council is undergoing a public procurement process for the "Replacement of Windows and Doors" project, which falls under the 'works' industry category, specifically targeting the installation of doors and windows. This process is at the tender stage as of 21 July 2026. The work will be conducted in the Renfrewshire region of the United Kingdom. The procurement method is open, with the invitation to tender focusing on two distinct contracts, each with specific requirements and potential durations extending to 2029. Interested parties need to submit electronic or written bids by 24 August 2026, with a contract period running potentially up to 18 January 2030 if extended. The project includes options for reactive replacement for building services and a replacement programme for housing investment, highlighting community benefits and adherence to performance terms like 'Fair Work First'.

This tender presents a significant opportunity for growth for businesses experienced in construction and installation, especially those adept at delivering value and quality in door and window replacements. Companies specialising in reactive maintenance and long-term replacement programmes can benefit greatly, as the project caters to the reactive and planned upgrade needs of both the building services and housing sectors. The contracts favour those who can demonstrate efficient delivery, quality assurance, and can provide community benefits, aligning with economic and social goals. This open procedure allows for widespread competition, enabling suppliers to bid on one or both lots, thereby providing a versatile opportunity for firms looking to expand their service offerings in the UK construction market.
