## Summary

The NHS Coventry and Warwickshire Integrated Care Board has announced its intention to award a contract for Tier 3 specialised and clinical Child & Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) to the Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership Trust. This procurement falls under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023 and is classified in the health services category. The contract covers the provision of a community-based mental health service for children and young people, commencing on 1st August 2026 and concluding on 31st July 2028, with an option to extend for an additional two years. The process executed is a direct award without prior publication of a competition call, as permissible within the framework of current regulations. The service will be delivered in the Coventry and Warwickshire region, providing trauma-informed and THRIVE-aligned support. Providers interested in raising representations should contact the relevant authority by 31st July 2026.

The tender presents significant opportunities for entities operating within the health services sector, especially those focussing on mental health and community service integration. Businesses with expertise in delivering high-quality and innovative care, capable of fostering collaboration among various care levels, stand to benefit from this procurement. Due to the emphasis on improving access and reducing health inequalities, businesses with experience in overcoming systemic barriers to mental health service delivery will be well positioned. The contract’s substantial value of approximately £75,152,224 over a potential four-year term offers a considerable platform for specialist providers to expand their service footprint while aligning with public sector priorities in continuity, integration, and social value.
